Puppy Purchase Information and Policy
We offer a waiting list for clients who are interested in purchasing a puppy. To be added to the waiting list a non-refundable deposit must be placed on record. You may send via PayPal, CashApp, credit card via Square, cashier's check, personal check (must allow 7 business days to clear), or money orders.
We will let you know when your deposit is received and the deposit will be applied to the balance of your puppy cost at the time of pick up. Gestation period is usually between 60 - 63 days and depositors will be notified when a litter has been born. Clients are placed on the waiting list in the order of the date the deposits are received and puppies will be offered in the same chronological order.
When the puppies reach approximately four (4-5) weeks of age each client will be provided with pictures and information of puppies. Each client will have 2 days to choose a puppy. All puppy deposits are non-refundable; therefore, if you choose to pass on a litter or cannot get the puppy you want, your deposit will be rolled to the next litter. In the event of the following: a breeding doesn't "take", puppies are lost at nesting, a small litter is born, puppy illness, or any other unforeseen events occur, you will be able to select another puppy from the litter if available or your deposit will be rolled over to the next litter. With the exception of the above, each depositor will have the opportunity to choose a puppy within a 12 to 18 month period of time. However, when a depositor has had ample opportunity to choose a puppy from at least two available litters or within 12 months and refuses to make a selection your deposit will be forfeited. This will be handled on an individual basis.
Any puppies that are left after waiting lists clients have chosen will be offered to the public.
Our guarantee on our pups:
We guarantee our puppies/dogs to be free of any life threatening, non-treatable, disease/ailment at time of purchase. We allow 3 days from date of purchase for the buyer to get the puppy examined by a licensed in office Veterinarian at their discretion. If the puppy is deemed to have a life threatening genetic or health problem (Except for Coccidia, Guardia, intestinal/external parasites) and with written documentation and bill of the condition presented from a licensed in office veterinarian, we will place Dog/Puppy buyer on top of list for next available healthy puppy/dog of same quality and breed according to puppy sex requested, buyer can either keep dog/puppy and provide proof of spay/neuter, or return dog/puppy. We cover against parvo up to 3 days after date of pick up, we have no control of exposure after a pup has left us, UNLESS shipped, we will not cover parvo on a dog/puppy that has been shipped as there is no way to track where the dog contracted the virus.
All our puppies will come with age appropriate vaccinations and de-worming treatments. All records will be documented and handed over when the puppy is picked up. Until all series of vaccines are completed, the puppy should not be exposed to other animals, traveling, parks, and stores to reduce the chance of catching any contagious diseases/virus/parasites or fungus. Parvo is a serious and deadly disease, and can spread fast after being in contact with it.
Warranty is intended to cover genetic defects that are unforeseeable at time of pickup such as hearing issues, eye issues, hip/elbow dysplasia. The hip/elbow dysplasia warranty is only in effect on dogs purchased with the limited or full AKC registration papers.
Some breeds from our kennel are prone to some of the following and others:
Hip/Elbow dysplasia, DM (Degenerative myelopathy), Blindness, & Deafness
(If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us.)
If for any reason the puppy/dog has anything wrong with it, buyer agrees to speak directly to breeder and vets only and not rely on social media or outside parties that could spread rumors destroying the reputation of breeder. Breeding is a continuous learning process and the breeder agrees to do the best as possible to prevent any type of sickness that may be found by fault or genetically in the future.
The breeder cannot guarantee the size, weight, eye color, coat color, or length when your puppy matures, we try to give our best estimate. Please be sure you are willing to wait for that special puppy before placing a deposit.
The buyer understands that during periods of stress (changing homes, environments, diets, leaving dam/siblings, de-wormer, and vaccinations can trigger negative reactions. Puppies can also break with illness within hours of a stressful trigger.
All sales are final, we do not offer cash refunds.
If you have any questions/concerns please contact us.
By submitting a deposit you are agreeing to this puppy purchase policy.
Payment:
Payment is due in full on or before the date of pick up. In addition, when shipping a pup, shipping costs and puppy payment is due in full before the puppy will be shipped to the buyer. If you are picking up your puppy in person we ask that you pay in cash or card. If you will be paying by personal check we must receive your payment 10 days prior to delivery, pick up, or shipping.
Shipping Your Puppy:
Airlines will not accept pups for shipping until eight weeks of age. Additionally, most airlines will not fly pups or dogs in extreme temperatures or precisely during the months of June, July, and August. It is up to the buyer to provide the cost of shipping for their puppy, in addition to the cost of purchasing their puppy from Brewster Ranch. However, a shipping estimated price range of $400 to $600 (depending upon the dog’s age and size) is a good estimated figure. Brewster Ranch will pay for the shipment at the time of drop-off from the shipping money the buyer furnishes. This covers airfare, crate, health certificates, and mileage to airport, everything it takes to get a puppy on a flight.
**The buyer is responsible for this cost if your puppy is not being picked up in Huntington, Tx**
NOTE: Due to the many variations in the breeds, we cannot predict coat or eye color results from any breeding and you may have to wait for other litters to get the desired puppy. Please be sure you are willing to wait for that special puppy before placing a deposit.
** We reserve the right to first choice of all litters and the right to remove any puppy from availability at any time for any reason. **
